Statement on Gaetz' recent attack on our community events
I strongly support the organizers of the 30A Songwriter festival and their desire to enforce safeguards for their upcoming event.
I find it ironic and reckless that Matt Gaetz is oppressing the rights of small business owners and festival organizers to handle the attendance guidance for their establishment and events. Enough is enough. We’re done with Gaetz and with the Governor forcing their anti-science and mass-death agenda on our local citizens, businesses, and charitable organizations.
With COVID-19 cases yet again on the rise, our communities have a constitutional right to demand proper precautions are taken to protect them and their families from this pandemic, without government interference and forced compliance with their unhinged agenda.
